Kandara is a family-run guest house situated in a quiet and leafy residential road. The area is one of Islington's designated conservation areas.

The building is a 4 storey Victorian house with 5 steps leading up to the main entrance.

We are registered with Visit England (the official tourist body) and, following their inspections, have been awarded a 3 star quality approval (more information).

We have free overnight street parking.  There are some daytime restrictions. We are outside the Congestion Charge Zone. For more details see our Public Transport page.

All our bedrooms have recently been redecorated and furnished. We have  installed new flat screen televisions in all our bedrooms and free WiFi internet access.  All rooms are centrally heated, have a wash-basin and tea and coffee making facilities.

Bathrooms are shared.  We have approximately one modern bathroom for every two bedrooms. That's at least 1 bathroom for every 3 guests! 

We have 12 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms (each with shower and toilet) plus 2 extra toilets.
